Stop in for a cup of coffee

When my father in law moved upstate they had a Fisher outdoor stove. Huge fire box with coils of antifreeze feeding a heat exchanger in the house. Worked good but was a lot of work. When they decided the wood was too much for them to keep up with he upgraded the backup system gas furnace for there primary heat source and got a 1000 gal LP tank.
Those style stove heaters are great for heating a remote shop since the fire is kept outside so the shop gets massive heat without worrying about igniting any fumes inside. it even works on soft sided tent style garages as a way to get safe heat into them. Not hard to build one using a 55 gal drum as the stove.
