humm... yea, mine is modded "a bit".. I am thinking the headers are the biggest "issue"...
so traditional hoist out is easier? why? no steering hassles??
that's right, Ben even posted a pic of it last year... of course he had a fork lift...
well lets see,
out the top.

disconnect wiring
unhook fuel lines
drain and remove radiator
unbolt headers and remove from car
unbolt bellhousing bolts (you can either leve the converter bolted to the flexplate or un bolt it, it'll work either way)
unbolt motor mounts
lift motor just enough to clear mounts
pull motor forward to get off the convertr
lift motor out
drink beer

done in an hr or less.

out the bottom:

disconnect wiring
unhook fuel lines
drain and remove radiator
unbolt headers and remove from car
unbolt bellhousing bolts (you can either leve the converter bolted to the flexplate or un bolt it, it'll work either way)
unbolt the steering column
loosen torsion adjuster
remove torsion bars
remove UCAs or separate the ball joint
remove trans mount
unbolt K frame bolts
lower entire assembly

drink whiskey

done in 2 hours
