Biohazard

So, I'm gonna be starting a side-project today. It's going to be sort of an...........um........accessory to the Biohazard. However, I think I'm going to do this one 'backwards'. Meaning, I'll post it up when it's finished and then string all the progress shots together.

Project complete! Behold!

Started out as a green guitar I bought off eBay in November, 2000. It was a non-original finish and therefore not worth much. I didn't get around to sanding that paint off until 2004.

Someone had already done a few knob and switch changes so doing a translucent stain was out of the question.

When I pulled it back out this summer....

Routed it out for 2 double pickups rather than a double and 2 singles. This meant I would have to add a pickguard to cover the surgery.

Fabricating the metal trim. Bright red pickups are a nod to the car's engine.
