im gonna try a bunch of different recipes, 2-3 lbs of this or that, see what we like and narrow it down. my question is do I have to mix it with pork/beef? all the recipes I find are saying to do so but I dont see what other than for fat?
I tell my butcher NOT to add fat to the ground venison....I do not add any fat or pork..I mix mine with some spices and cure that are available.... then I add a few SECRET ingredients to mine, before dehydrating at 6hrs..
