I don't know about other paint companies but PPG I discontinuing all single stage. As for wet sanding & buffing you cant do it to single stage metallic.
I know, but I can, If I wish, clear coat it and then do that. But I do not want to.
I did go over the car with the clay bar and it took off all the dust and extra stuff I would have wet sanded off.
I am extremely satisfied with the job I did using the Single Stage. I still can buy the PPG single stage at the paint store as of 2 weeks ago
