The thing (strike 1) that has every body twisted and it's a very real concern, is your flat out statement about street racing......no matter how cool it looks on "Street Outlaws".........it is an illegal activity in every state of the union........I'm sure you know there in your home state of California, you get caught, they take your car and crush it, there is no debate.....also from a couple of years ago, 2 guys from Compton were facing murder charges cuz some people got killed during a street race, never heard what the out come was........no matter what, I would not engage in activity that would get me a not so nice room in Folsom, or turn my car into a block of scrap headed to China.

Strike 2 is, there is a staggering amount of documented history of teenagers and cars going wrong, not your fault, just the facts.

Build your car, have fun with it, that's why you own it......just don't be the doofus in the next lane making people wish your parents had practiced a better form of birth control.
