360 or 440 for my 1970 dart daily driver
A word to the original poster: Maybe if you toned down your approach a bit, some of these guys would be more willing to help you. You're coming on a great car site asking for advice. To me, that means that you acknowledge that the guys here might know a little more than you about car building. You should also realize that they have more experience in DRIVING these high powered cars. Also, last time I checked, being a better driver than most 16 year olds is nothing to brag about.
You have a resource here where you have endless years of experienced drivers/builders to ask for advice. I would listen to the building AND the driving advice. I have found that most on this site are more than happy to help you and know WAAAAAY more than you. If you're smart, you'll listen to their advice. I learn stuff here all the time and I've been driving and building mopars since 1983.
And to answer your question, I'd say small block(stroker if you have the money) every time, seeing as how it's a daily driver. Also, in closing, if you feel you don't need to listen to the more experienced guys here, at least do Johnnydart and the rest of us a favor and let us know when you're out being an idiot so we can stay off the streets that day. Lol.
Good luck with your daily driver but please. RACE IT AT THE TRACK!!!!
