Drums from a 7" 1/4 fit on 8" 1/4?

Yeah, but I'm only doing groundwork. My axle is from a F-body and i only have the housing. Just wanted to find out if brakes were something i had to look at too, or if I could be off using the old ones.

If you have them what type of rear is it 7 1/4, 8 1/4

You can't, the size of the whole pocket is different.

I have to look could have sworn I did that once. I should have a couple of pairs left have to look again. Thanks.
