Thanks, that's what I thought. I was asking about the red fiberglass ones (horsepower saving), that's what I installed on my car back in the '70's. I guess they did not hold up forever.
Yeah it was the green one, it came with a bunch of parts. I threw it on and ot worked good probably because I never rev'd that one over 5k. The ends started to go. Once the glass is cracked...the fiber gives.
