How's it going everyone?

Welcome aboard! In 15.5 years, get that picture back out when the baby asks for the keys to the hot rod and your wife says 'no, take the subaru'. You can show her she's the one who introduced the duster to him/her.....

Welcome from a SoCal denizen Ben, thanks for your service, I know what you guys went through. The carrier I was on in 1970 made a little tropical vacation trip to Vietnam, for a few months. On the Duster, your car do what you will. You could go on-line look at a few Dusters, just to pick-up some ideas. ( this forum will help w/ a lot of nice A-body's ) I own a 70 Dodge Challenger w/ a slant-6, auto. On floor, 8-3/4. All wrapped up in SE trim. The only Duster I had was a 70, 340, 4-gear, car in in-violet. Sold it. But the trip begins here.

Welcome aboard. Looks like a fun project. I think a 360 is all you really need. But again your car, your money, your choice.

Welcome from Florida. I love the Duster. Since you asked, I'm not a fan of the cowl hoods. I am a fan however of the 360! I love a mostly stock appearance with some evil hiding underneath. I think the twin scooped hoods are really cool, but even your stock hood is cool, with some nice tires and wheels and a 360, that car will be hot. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it, and maybe a future truck. I hope to have me another '79 Dodge Adventurer one day. Shortbed, V8.

WELCOME from central PA. Good luck with your duster. Keep us posted

I'm trained in auto body so body shouldn't be that bad. It's got some rust of course but worst part is the rocker panels....other than that pretty clean. I'm new to the forum deal so this is very cool.

Well I was gonna invite you to move next door. Then you could do bodywork for me, while I could slam a rockin' hot 360 4speed together for you, but it looks like you got your sct together, welcome here.

welcome from another Duster owner..Mine is 73 with /6 3 in floor and p/s and a/c good luck........................................................Jeff
