As a licensed insurance producer, theres some things you need to do. I'm sure CA is slightly different but I know how AAA works from dealings with them in the past.

First, take pics of your house/property that you want insured. Then take pics of your cars, outside shots are fine, don't need interiors, just show the vehicles having plates . Then make copies of your registrations, take to your local AAA office, ask them to re-evaluate their decision. If they refuse, advice them that you will make contact the CA department of Insurance, give them the same stuff, ask them to investigate it, guaranteed you'll get a different response from AAA then.
