Yep! Im not happy about that. Using the baseball bat to roll that inner lip does not work.
Ive never done body repair, and I dont really know how to go about fixing them. I did pick up some replacement sheetmetal from a donor car if I cant hammer them back into place. Although that still requires me to have to repaint the quarters and Im not sure if it can be blended at a body line or ???
Yikes! The baseball bat method only works on newer cars with much thinner sheet metal.

Post some pics of what you've got and I can give you some advice. Painting side panels requires blending halfway into the adjacent panel...but it can be done. The biggest issue you face is that PCP is the absolute worst paint color to blend. It's a nightmare to match and changes every time you spray it.
