What stops you from moving to another state ??

27 years in Jersey, 15 in Mesa AZ, just hit the 8 year mark here. I left Jersey prior to getting stuck there...aka a mortgage. Best advice anybody, thank you Aunt Kay, ever gave me....more before it is difficult. A mortgage, kids in school etc. Left AZ because had enough of the heat. And the crowd. And the pollution.
Will be dieing here. Not that I wouldn't mind moving. But funds simply won't permit. That and moving a fully loaded 1800 pound (empty) gun safe is a *****. I feel that we are nomadic by nature.
Folks will move for various reasons. Some logical and some not. For me paradise doesn't exist. I would love to live where it snowed year round....but considering that I enjoy (used to at least) riding my chopper....pulling the trigger on a few guns...that probably wouldn't be paradise after a short while.
