Can I make VTSS work for me, instead of against me?

sounds like a lot of work

Sometimes building a car is a lot more work than walking, but we still do it for some reason. :poke::rofl:

Doesn't seem like a lot of work to me, with a decent amount of benefits. But it could be that I am clueless and it would cause all sorts of problems. That's part of why I am asking here.

Makes me think of the issues Hot Rod had with their Hellcat swap into the Charger. In the end, everything talked to everything and they had to put it all in the car to get it to run. If this is the same deal, better to strip the CCD wires out and make sure the PCM doesn't have the security enabled. If it's as easy as making sure the CTM has power and the two CCD wires are connected to the PCM, seems like very little work to have a car that the average individual isn't going to run off with.

BTW, just to be clear, the average old school Mopar is as easy as a 4 foot jumper wire, a quarter and 10 seconds to get running without the key. A Mopar with a Magnum EFI setup and no security takes maybe 30 seconds to hotwire and drive away. An old Mopar with a Magnum EFI setup and TVSS active is going to take at least 15 minutes of swapping parts and unplugging modules and an individual with a whole lot of knowledge and forethought put into stealing the car. Not many car thief's would come prepared and informed enough to steal it, and those that are wont even show up without a roll back.

The central locking, power lock, auto lock, intermittent wipers and speed sensitive wipers are all icing on the cake and might or might not be worth the effort. But it's fun to think about plugging in a 4x4x1 box under the dash and running a couple of wires to different places and having some of those features.
