WOW! Good for you . trucks are gaining in popularity and value . Best of luck . My heart says to restomod the truck . I am currently looking at a '40 Plymouth coupe that the owner wants $12k for, been hacked and Mickey Moused . Of course he's dreaming .

I've been without anything to do and kept looking for something different than what I'm use to but it had to speak to me which this does haven't seen it yet just a verbal commitment going on Wednesday but he has taken the add down have no clue what direction it will go but should be a learning experience and fun

Nice project!

Nice find!
I would love to see it out in the open and cleaned up a bit...........

I have my eye on a 47 dodge truck that is local to me, it has a 273, 833, 8.75 out of a baracuda in it, paint is decent, it is a nice driver for $9500.
I need to sell one of my cars just to make room for it.
I think my wife would kill me if I drove it home, I just bought a 70 challenger over the weekend that she is not too happy about.

I love that truck. It brings back memories from when I was growing up. I was probably 11 or 12 years old and there was a guy down the road from us that had one like that. His son was my brother's age and was different meaning he was real smart book wise not otherwise. The son named Wm drove it up to our house and I wanted to drive it so he finally agreed if I washed it I could drive it up the road about a mile to a vacant house that had a circle drive and back. Everything was going well except my brother was sitting in the middle and when I was turning around the tree my brother pushed the gas petal to the floor and wouldn't let up. I made about 3 donuts around the tree and he still wouldn't let off the gas so I tried to go back down the road. I ran over the end of a hedgerow before getting it back on the road. Wm was about the have a stroke so needless to say I never got to drive it again

We've got a '46 pickup that's about ready to go to paint - can't wait to start driving it (assuming the boss lets me - I got it for her) :)

Have fun with your build!!

Well not quite what I expected and/or was willing to take on in my golden years but looking at a 69 Sweptline long bed tonight if it happens I have a plan anyways I think I do everything's subject to change

I'd make sure that direct connection banner on the wall was thrown in on the deal!

Very cool ! It brings back memories of when I was a child. We had a 1 ton dually with a flatbed for a grain hauling truck.

I'll probably catch hell but jumped ship gave deposit on a 72 C10 long bed yesterday lots done in pieces appears project got to be to many $$ and time

This is a complete frame off restoration. Frame has been sandblasted and all factory rivet areas have been welded, frame has been epoxy primed, and painted satin black. All new grade 8 hardware has been used in the reinstallation of the hardware that has been hung. The front end is the CPP grand slam kit. This kit includes 2.5" dropped front spindles, bearings, calipers, 12" rotors, brake hoses, master cylinder, power booster, prop-valve, four gas shocks, four lowered coil springs, inner and outer tie rod ends, custom adjusting sleeves, upper and lower ball joints, seals, spindle nuts, dust shields and dust caps. Control arms are fitted with brand new Moog components.
Cab has been soda blasted and epoxy primed, the cab is in excellent condition. In the photos you will notice I made block off plates for the heater, these can easily be removed and factory heater parts are included with purchase. Cab bottom has been painted black. Rain gutter has been refilled with Sikaflex caulk which is made for that application. I do have the original dash gauge panel and all other associated parts to put cab back together except the steering column. All parts have been sandblasted and are painted black. This truck features factory radio delete with the factory block off plate. I have new black carpet and the bench seat is newly re-upholstered and in great condition.
The 12 bolt rear end has been completely cleaned and painted and includes brand new Eaton posi and 3.73 gears along with all new bearings and seals. The rear end is in place with brand new stock replacement control arms.
Turbo 350 transmission has been completely stripped and cleaned with all new rebuild and shift improver kit, all professionally done.
The original engine is a 307cu in small block Chevy. The engine ran good when I disassembled the truck and was placed onto a stand for rebuild. I have removed the heads and the bores look good. I am open to selling this with or without the engine and/or trans.
The doors have been blasted and are in very good condition They have also been epoxy primed. I have all stock window hardware and glass for reassembly.
The bed is in great condition and is an 8 foot bed with solid tailgate also in great condition. The bed and tailgate have not been blasted, and are painted in the color I received the truck which is gloss black.
Factory windshield was discarded as it had some lines from the wipers over the years.
I have a new behind the seat gas tank included.
I have new CPP sway bars for front and rear and adjustable CPP locator track bar.
brand new Classic Performance cab mounting kit.Brand new Headman headers.
Aluminum radiator is included.
Truck comes with the original hood which has not been blasted yet and retains the paint which I received the truck. It also comes with an aftermarket 2" cowl hood.
I am open to negotiating the sale without the engine and/or transmission.
