I dont mean to be a downer about it.. Hell I would want one as well. I work with our elevator contractor at the College. They told me that here in MN and possibly other places they are cracking down on non commercial style elevators. Even those chairs that help the elderly up and down there stairs. They are trying to pass a law stating they need to be inspected yearly. So people that have them have to decide if they want to keep it or not. Not to mention if you or anyone else gets hurt using it, your insurance company could drop you. I would hate to see that happen.
Now, my other thought, if it is something that can be put up and taken down and does not resemble an elevator you might be ok, but who knows.
