W2 heads on a 318

It wasn't meant to be a critical statement, but used as a great example of using too much cam for displacement/cylinder head/RPM. I'm a big cam guy, but I'm also a correct cam guy. You just happened to post a great example of it.

And yes, I love an agreessive sound.

My ultimate point is you didn't lack bottom end power because the head was too big, but the cam timing was as good as it could have been. That's my point.
Didn't take it as critical, you actually hit on what I already knew. I like the idea of adding more compression than running a smaller cam but I'm not known for having a "fast" car. I'm trying to correct that though.
