Knee deep into front end rebuild on the Dart. Steering shaft and hold-down plate were rusty, so might as well take out the steering column and grind everything down and paint. While taking out the steering column noticed the interior fire wall had surface rust; treated with SEM Rust-Mor; prep and paint. The idler arm castle nut wore a groove in the header tube, might as well take care of it, only took a few minutes to drop the header with everything out. With the LCA's out going to weld on stiffening plates this week. Sent the man steering box to Firm Feel; Dick called to tell me the worm gear is shot. It never ends....
