moog ball joints

Made in USA in 3 languages not sure why I said America:/ it's back together going for alignment today still have to figure out what to do with big crack in new paint

MOOG outsourced years ago. It's a sad situation.
How about some facts? A very large percentage of Moog chassis is made in the US & always has been. Especially the components with the "moog" gold cover plate. The only "offshore" Moog chassis will be their "RK" control arms or possibly some components they have to purchase because of low VIO. Raybestos chassis manufacturing & inventory was purchased by FM 2 years ago so most likely only old stock around...FM supplies Napa with some of their chassis, this will be Raybestos (Spicer previously). XRF is made in China. If it says made in USA on the box that means it is! Assembled in the USA means something totally different. If a chassis component comes directly from "offshore" it does not necessarily have to say it is made "offshore". Only if it crosses another border prior to the USA border (NAFTA laws) than it clearly has to say "made offshore" . I think you know what I mean by offshore?? Bummer you ball joint broke & I am quite surprised that your local FM representative did not offer to have the joint sent to Moog for analysis? Very strange indeed. Moog engineers can exactly determine if it was a manufactures defect or something else?? Moog does not have the reputation of selling junk! Personally I would call the FM tech department at 1 800 325 8886 & ask how you can have your joint analyzed? 40 years & many Mopars with problem free Moog Chassis have left my hands.. Anyway just my thoughts, good luck with your car.
