Yes it is, and im sure this is not the last we hear of problems with 2017 Duramax engine. They had a head engineer from GM there to figure out the problem, could not. Mechanic who was working/driving the truck told me there is no fix and the problem is not fixed. It did it while he was driving it as well. No codes popped, no indication engine stopped except it is not running any longer. No kind of warning lights on dash lights when it quits.
