3 spd wiper one speed

Could be as simple as lost ground. There's a ground jumper on the motor ( or should there ) that must be intact. Some systems required the switch be chassis grounded ( mounted in the dash ) also. Leave the switch dangling from the wires and wipers would run continuous at high speed.

True of the early cars. That changed in 67

I have the ground strap on the motor of my 73 Dart but if the switch isn't grounded the wipers don't work.
