MP stuff is very watery. Takes a gazillion coat to color. I remember doing a 440 in race hemi orange and it took many many coats to get it looking orange. I prefer duplicolor engine enamel. It covers well with a few coats.

I've also had great results with Duplicolor Ceramic holding up great, even years later.
