Do you paint your engines fully assembled?

i like to paint them all assembled.. just looks right to me... nothing looks like a short cut to me:)

now this looks like short cuts were taken.. ugly with that bare alumn and all...







cleaned up and ready to paint the right way..:) that orange on the valve covers and intake are mopar performance street hemi orange.. way off. its way too pale to be correct. most don't notice though so its not a big deal i guess..




epoxy primer on...



high solids urathane on..
