T for 2
- Ok,
So it's Sunday morning and it's time your T For 2 update. Well I wish that we would have gotten more done yesterday but Larry's other truck needed lower ball joints installed and my Dodge Caliber need it sway bar links put in. You always think you have every tool in the book until you try to tackle a job. We had an OTC tool bot didn't have the right size spacer to get the ball joint back in. Needless to say that all this shot up the better part of Saturday. We managed however to reinstall the inner fenders and we got the cold end of the driver's side buttoned up. Check out the gray spacers that Larry made at work using their CNC machine. They look store bought and they add a really finished look to the system as they help to hold the tubing in position. We would have finished the Passenger side but we ran out of clamps. We also got the Fitech dual quad throttle bodies bolted down. Next week we are going to run the fuel lines and hopefully connect the the wiring for the Fitech. He is going to use timing control but he is going to try his original distributor as it is already locked out because it came from a factory fuel injected engine. If it doesn't work well then he's going to buy the same TSP billet distributor I bought from Johnny Pace. I doubt if we will be able to fire it next Saturday but we are CLOSE. Up next after this thread will be timing control, distributor and degreed harmonic balancer install on my Dart. Have a great Sunday!
