Missed on this combo?

The exhaust port itself isn't all that important. Once that valve opens there's plenty of pressure to clear the cylinder fully during blowdown. I think your issue would be the rockers and intake ports. So I'm interested to see what the "recovery" looks like.
Bullet told me the problem ....he thinks....is the intake isn't getting enough time to fill. I'm not messing around with epoxy. Bullet has the cam now, so we'll see what happens with the split reversed. Not to mention real 1.6 rockers.

My big plan is if it doesn't respond, I'll sell the heads bare and buy a pair form Bloomer or who knows? Not to mention I'd need a new cam.

I want 570 HP and damn good torque, or its toast. Be selling lots of stuff..........
The only wasted money would be the CNC work, the cam, and dyno time. Maybe 3 grand- ish...
