Dash lights

Connections are good.
And this may be a dumb question, but where does the left side of the dash get its power? Looks like the right and left side instruments are isolated from each other, with only a three pin connector (red/orange/yellow wires) that could power the left side. Assuming red is power, if I have the dash lights on shouldn't I have 12v at that wire?
