Need "Disc O Tech" article

What are the 4 piston calipers from? You said Bendix, but the A-body 4 piston calipers were Kelsey Hayes.

So, you have 73+ spindles, want to use the later B/R body 11.75" disks, and some kind of 4 piston caliper? You'd have to make the caliper brackets if that was case. The 11.75" rotors for the later B/R body cars will work fine with the 73+ spindles, and I don't see why the calipers couldn't work with those rotors, but those calipers were never used with the 73+ spindles or rotors so you'd have to figure out a way to mount them in the proper location, there aren't any factory caliper brackets that would do that.

It would be easier to sell the 4-piston calipers and buy a set of 11.75" caliper brackets from Dr. Diff with a set of rebuilt 73+ single piston calipers.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, they are Bendix, they are not on the car I just happen to have them. I believe they are off a 66-69 B-body. Selling them is certainly an option. I have considered buying something different. I was hoping to keep a 4 piston design, I could try and find some good KH 4-piston calipers but I think I'd be in the same situation (finding caliper brackets to use with it). I have been speaking with Dr. Diff the last few weeks. (Bought some things from him recently).

The only other thing I wonder is if I used B-body spindles and 11" rotor and mounted them to my A-body with my Bendix. Do you think there would be any issue with that?

Thanks again.
