Crosswind vs. RPM Intake

Helping a nephew with a 360 build (2.02 J heads, Mopar .474-280 cam, mostly street driven) and I noticed that the Crosswind is about $120 cheaper than the RPM. But, I think I remember reading somewhere that the Crosswind has a smaller port cross sectional area. Is this true? If so, I'm guessing it wouldn't matter much with this mild build, but if he wants to upgrade the heads and cam down the road with, let's say, mildly ported Eddys., bigger cam, would the Crosswind start to become a bottleneck? Thanks.
