looking for any advise?

have a 1973 swinger 318 built up, see garage page...
my fbo ignition system keeps frying ignition coils, and everything checks out. ive even went though mopars checks, and don form fbo's checks. no ballast resistor, direct 12volts... using his flamethrower coil, runs great for a while, then craps another one. I box is grounded? not sure, giving up, going to replace stock distributor with he fbo degrees plate installed and the fbo box with a mopar convention set up. just what to run. .... not worried about msd sparking anymore..
looking at the most inexpensive bolt In set up I guess. looking a tan orate box, mopar unit, stock distributors, and standard coil with ballast resistor... which coil 13.5 or 3.0 ohm coil?
and any particular brands coil work better? also would a stock reman distributor or one with mopar advance springs be better over all, the car is built up 318 0 decked, 340 cam , headers, high rise intake , 600 sfm carb etc.. 3.50 gears.., oh and a PTC 2400-2800 stall converter...
