Jehovah's Witnesses

And I'll share a scripture in the old testament of God "Jehovah" ....
Isaiah 44:6 "........... I am the First, and I am the Last: and beside me there is no God"
but..... Jesus said.....
Revelation 1:17 "............... Fear not: I am the first and the last"
was this honorable son trying to under mind the Father???? Like Absalom did to David??
Or.... could it be.... Jehovah of old is Jesus of today.... :)
