73 Duster/Dougs headers/360/Power steering

We are trying to install Dougs headers 453 on my buddies 73 Duster with a 360/727. We are having issues clearing the big square collar on the steering column. What have you guys done to take care of this issue? From what we see denting the tube significantly or different steering shaft setup. We have been struggling with this for some time now and are now in crunch time. Mopars in the Park in Farmington, MN is right around the corner. LOL
