1965 273 Commando Engine & 904 Assembly
273 Commando w/ std bore, forged crankshaft, adjustable rockers, 4 bbl intake ... I do NOT have the Commando valve covers though.
This engine was running when removed (aren't they all!!) but blowing some smoke on acceleration.
Included is a similar aged 904 transmission (includes converter w/ smaller pilot) that I was told was working as well.
This engine was stored in a garage where a lot of wood working was being done ... hence the light sawdust covering in some of the photos. I would definitely recommend a complete disassembly & a good cleaning before anything is done to the engine.
This assembly is in Alberta, Canada so make sure your dog sled team is strong enough to pull this home.
