Upgraded alternator with eddy heads
Looks like you've found a good solution. Thought I'd post a couple pics of my alternator setup in case someone else is interested in the future. I'm running a Quality Power "Chrysler Mount Mega-Amp" alternator. Internally, it's a Denso hairpin design - mine is rated at 120 amps at idle and 150 amps max. It's not a cheap option and it's a tight fit with the Edelbrock heads, but it does fit. I installed mine with the CVF racing 8 rib serpentine pulley kit - had to shave off a small amount of material from one of the alternator mounting ears to get the pulleys into perfect alignment.
