How did you become a Mopar A-body Enthusiast?
My grandfather was a Mopar man from way back and always talked to me about Dodge from the time I was old enough to understand words. He had a '67 Dart GT and a '69 Monaco. My mother had a '63 Dart that was supposed to be my first car but my older sister wrecked it before it came to me. My other older sister had a '71 Demon that became the car I took to college. Since then I owned dozens of A bodies and wrenched on them until I all until I switched to driving new cars for work about 30 years ago. In 2005, I bought a Dodge Magnum and in 2006 I traded it for a Charger SRT-8 (still have it). Now I'm back into the A bodies again now my '69 GTS that is the near twin to the '69 GT 340 I had when I first got married. Funny how I still know every detail of the car 30 years on.
