That would disappoint me as well! Can't blame the module for that, ugh! GM all over it. Why not a Chysler style dizzy? Glad I did the retrofit!

At the time I didn't know about the difference between a stock dizzy and the Pertronix unit, thought it was similar. I have to add it worked well for a few years and then all of a sudden these problems.
