....and the trans isn't in the car :) the learning curve of my pump housing is only "happy" with a gear that's .747 thick. The new HD gear, advertised as "drop in" measures .748+.... won't even let the pump turn. Going to have the new gear machined to meet the .003 spec. ....and I'm going to see the availability of a CSR 904 shield and weigh my torque converter options.
