FBO Systems

I have the attitude that if your going to run a Mopar then run a Mopar, don't try and Band-aid it with a GM ignition module which is really not much better than a decent Mopar ECU they all perform the same way and are not designed to fire today's fuel formulation. GM modules read a much different voltage signal than a Mopar box and as we found out the reluctor clearance and cranking RPM make a huge difference in the voltage output to signal the control unit and mixing them up is going to create issues when things aren't perfect. To me it's like putting an LS1 in a Barracuda or running a Power-glide transmission behind a 426 Hemi... I just don't like it, I'm a Mopar Guy I can't help myself.
I've used FBO ignition boxes/distributors and have known Don for quite some time and he has always been a stand up guy. I have a FBO distributor and ignition box in 2 of my 3 cars and they have worked well. One is in my stock 340 Demon and has been in it for 10 years and still works with no issues. Give Don a call if you have a problem I'm sure he will sort it out for you.
