FBO Systems

Whoever you are you have never asked for a refund or repair or you would have gotten it we have NEVER refused to repair or replace any of our products EVER.

Do you actually think that make the reluctors and pick-up coils? We do warranty them if you have an issue, all you have to do is ask, I've not heard anything about this.

6 years ago we tried your favorite HEI module, we made 35 of them and recalled them all and replaced with the HRR688 Microprocessor Boxes that we spend 5 years and 10's of thousands of $$ in development and they are flawless.

Run a HEI module on your test bench and you'll see that it doesn't miss fire it drops output starting at about 3800 as do all stock type transistor based Mopar ECU's and Duraspark boxes, hook it up to your test equipment and run it to 8000 RPM like we do on a full load bank and report your documented findings here.

We shied away from Pertronix distributors for many years because of this issue also, when we figured out how to limit the timing by machining the slot we built tooling and wrote programs on the CnC for the different amount of mechanical timing we wanted and have setup 1000's since for our own customers and units sent into us by others. It just takes time and ingenuity to figure this stuff out. Since we started distributing Pertronix we have never sold an out of the box unit, we modify all of them before they ever leave here. They are a very good unit right out of the box but after we're done with them they are an Excellent Choice.

MSD warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under its
intended normal use*, when properly installed and purchased from an authorized MSD dealer,
for a period of one year from the date of the original purchase.

FBO HRR688 is warranted for 5 years with a .001 rate

I have the attitude that if your going to run a Mopar then run a Mopar, don't try and Band-aid it with a GM ignition module which is really not much better than a decent Mopar ECU they all perform the same way and are not designed to fire today's fuel formulation. GM modules read a much different voltage signal than a Mopar box and as we found out the reluctor clearance and cranking RPM make a huge difference in the voltage output to signal the control unit and mixing them up is going to create issues when things aren't perfect. To me it's like putting an LS1 in a Barracuda or running a Power-glide transmission behind a 426 Hemi... I just don't like it, I'm a Mopar Guy I can't help myself.

WARNING: if you go with his distributor setup he will tell you to use the manifold vacuum port on your carb. BAD IDEA for street driving but he will preach it to you non-stop. You will lose engine braking and your car will be more sluggish off the line.

If you had any idea of how a vacuum can works you would understand why when we set up the distributor it's designed to run Manifold Vac and not OBD 1 computer controlled timing for emissions engines. How can your car lose braking power when you have more vacuum?

Maybe you should get a copy off my book so you know how all this stuff works.... over 30,000 Mopar enthusiasts have read it and they now understand.

So this guy who has been in the Mopar business for nearly 30 years lives and breathes Mopar everyday and many of you that have quality parts have probably dealt with him over the 3 decades. We have had a solid business relationship with his company since he was still in high school. He has seen 1st hand the dedication and work we've put into our products. He can run any ignition products he wants and he chooses FBO every time.

The naysayers are welcome to order one of our new and the only Truly Digital ECU's, tear it apart and reverse engineer it, try and improve on it if you think you can make something better.
Or write a check and buy me out, company for sale I'm ready to retire.
