FBO Systems

I think people are looking for a magic bullet ignition system.
It does't exist from my reading.
Everything in life is a compromise, probably.
And everyone wants to think the motor oil the chose is the best.
And some people will never be happy.

I read things about a certain engine re-builder who does good priced standard package engines.
All good reviews.
But there is one "flyer" from a guy across the country who wasn't happy with his engine.
Two questions.
Why did he chose this engine re builder far away when there are MOPAR specific builders closer to him?
Why did he not go with one of their proven package engines and ask for some weird stuff in HIS engine build?

Old news is old news. Where is MSD made now?
17 years ago I had an MSD that stranded me in my 340 Challenger.
After that I put a terminal block in the car with an Orange box. If the MSD ever failed again I could swap the wires and get me home.
Odd that the MSD would not run but the Orange box would.

So I just bought the FBO box and coil to go in my daily driver because I want plug and play if something fails in voodoo electronics. It looks like a quality product.
It is "reasonably" priced. (Really, look at the cost of things now).
And our choices at O'vancezone are not good for a Chrysler ECU.

No, the car still won't do wheel stands.
I can tell you that something strange is going on with my gas millage.
I'll report back if it has improved as much as I think it has.
