Oops, sorry I didn't reply. I was swamped with stuff for my BIL when I read it and never remembered to get back to you.

Sounds like you need to adjust the choke properly (it's opening too soon) and I'm also wondering if the accelerator pump needs seal replacements. Falling on it's face with light throttle usually means the butterflies have opened but the fuel isn't keeping up. bad seals do that since it won't pump a good shot of fuel unless you mash it.
I didnt want to bug you as I figured you had much more important things to worry about.. So no worries.

I watched all the Eddy videos and yes I agree, I still think the choke is still to light even though its almost maxed on the hash marks... I'll readjust that and look into the seals on that pump... I had the top off to check the jets, but didnt even think to look at the plunger seal. Thanks Dave and I hope your BIL is doing good.
