Great job! Congratulations.
Years ago, when I painted my 74 dustpan, I had to paint it outside. Right after I started to paint it, the neighbor kitty-corner from me, started burning trash in a burn barrel in his back yard. Murphys Law right there. You were very fortunate to have a good friend to spray it in a professional booth.Haha, good one! He explained to me why, but honestly, I was so exhausted and nervous today I already forgot. I think it was that it bought him some time for the rest of the car if he did the hood separately.
I used to have the 71 side stripe and the 70 tail panel stripe. If I do it I will probably go with the 71 side stripe again. I will probably wait a little bit before I put stripes on, I might like the clean look too. Time will tell!are you going to do any graphics?
Thanks! Yes, I cant wait eitheryou should be happy and proud - it came out nice - can't wait to see all the trim put back on it!
I know, I am very grateful and lucky. Great story by the way, how did it come out?Years ago, when I painted my 74 dustpan, I had to paint it outside. as well as could be expected under the circumstances. I guess it was ok, just not great. I changed the exterior color. The original color was this bile green. It reminded me of the color you'd be puking if you drank about a case of Rainier Ale. Funny thing, If I ever get around to repainting it, I think I'd put it back to the original color. It doesn't bother me like it did then, and it was an unusual color that you hardly ever see, today.I used to have the 71 side stripe and the 70 tail panel stripe. Expensive, but .GOOD...Hello. I promised to return with more info on the paint. The brand is "Glasurit" with the code 6*11*13.00. There is no name I'm afraid, we only had the paint chip with the code on the backside and the brand to go by.
