64 Valiant Instrument Panel removal

I think it should be the same as my '65 Barracuda. Remove the bezel around the ignition switch first; this can be done by expanding the tips of needle-nose pliers against the two slots in the bezel and unscrewing it. After removing the four screws that hold the panel in place, it's just a matter of pulling the panel out from the dash enough to disconnect the wiring from the backs of the gauges. It's about a five-minute job at most.
Thanks everyone, will give this a try. Most likely will have to replace my ignition switch as it is very loose and doesn't get a good solid connection when trying to start. The ignition unit is very loose and turns way too much.
