I made the mistake of buying the 1 piece for the LA. Leaked like a siv despite lots of RTV at the timing chain cover. Did not have the 2 "grommets" that go through the the front of the pan (to keep it in place) and started leaking like crazy after 200 miles or so.
Weirdest thing to see oil shooting out like it was.
Ended up having to pull the entire block out to remove and replace the oil pan gasket. Sucks.
Save yourself a headache, buy the traditional 4 piece and use "The Right Stuff" around the perimeter of the pan, going heavy at the timing cover joints.
