I bought a 69 427 vette back bought mid 90's from "vette" guy with resto business n Ks, in the deal his bodyman wold come to Mo. and show me and the guy that did most of my bodywork "how" to replace the lower fenders, ( yes they came in 2 pieces! Ha) gel coat, etc ........ MY L AST VETTE!
interior? they put the radio n first and the rest of dash around that. replace radio? you guessed it.
Um, yeah. In the pic I posted of the busted up fender you can see the seam. I've never done one, but I don't think it wouldn't be all that difficult, and probably would have been easier. Tried to save him money where I could so he could get new tires , brakes, tune up, new weatherstrips, etc. The car just been sitting and needed a good going over. I picked it up on a trailer, but when I call him and tell him it's finished I want him to come here and drive it home.
