Even so no reason to remove and plug it. You could easily bypass it electrically. I wonder if "there's another reason," like maybe the threads were AFU in the case?

Thanks all for the reply's Now I feel better about running the NSS. They just gutted the NSS and brazed the end closed. I took 3 hrs to take it out, with all that braze running over the hex.just no room. This was one of those Why didn't I take it out when the trans was on the groung. Jim
