I ran a best of 7.27 @ 94 mph shifting at 5400 with a 5.14 gear and 30 inch tall M/T 315/60 drag radial at 2950 lbs. If I shifted any higher it would slow down. 8 in. PTC convertor. Only 1/8 mile tracks in my state.
Your 5.14 and 30s corrected to a 24" tire is equivalent to 4.11s.
I ran [email protected] with a 2.2 60 ft with 4.88s and 27.8s. My gear and tire equivalency is 4.21. I would be hoping for a 7.4 ET with a 1.7 60ft. But I was shifting at 7000, so maybe , just maybe, I was way off the power peak,lol.(230cam). It was the only successful run of 4 that I ever made. When I saw 93mph I about messed myself.
