So what transmission is that exactly? I am intrigued.

95 Dakota 42RH (A500) in the hydraulic controlled year range.
OD and lockup are fully automatic controlled with adjustable pressure switches so I can set their engagement speeds.
The switches on the shifter base just make it so either or both can be disabled.
Otherwise it's fully automatic with OD coming in at 50mph and lockup at 70.
So for example, if I don't want OD coming on until a higher speed I can turn it off until I get to that speed. (same with lockup)
