Sucks about the mice getting in it like that. I'd love to see your car on here. Btw i cant say it enough on the forums, but placing one open box of moth balls on the trunk floor, one on interior floor, and one under the hood does wonders for keeping those little rat bastards away from your car in long term storage. Also storing it up on 4 jackstands will prevent flat spotting on your tires too.
Periodically put new boxes of moth balls like every 6 months or so. Its really simple cheap insurance. I'd rather smell a slight moth ball scent when i air it out than mouse piss scent, and a tore up interior. Its gonna take a lot of work to get rid of that smell as its now also in the foam padding of the seats, the cardboard in the door panels, package tray, and in the insulation.
I wish you all the best getting her up n running and all cleaned up.
