DEMON, AT YOUR LOCAL DEALER
Like said the "Legend" is the engine/ drivetrain, both cars are basically Dusters. So In a sense the "which came first, the Duster or the Demon, is the only real argument here, and we all know the answer to that. I am a Dart man myself, the 70 Swinger 340, while being an affordable and venerable machine in its day, I can see why the 70 Duster / Duster 340 took off, it was a "new body style" with a fastback roof line of course people will buy it, its different from the dart body from the last 4 years. When it comes down to it though, the drive trains are basically the same untill they detuned the 340. I never liked the later Dart front end that looks like a valiant/ Duster, the 73-76 nose for example. By the end, the cars were like the recent Neon. Same car , but with either Dodge or Plymouth badges on it. It sucks, because there are alot of nice later Darts around, but I cant get over that they look like Valiants, its probably the same for Duster fans who don't like that Dart front end on their favorite car.
