what is it worth....early A wagons
a few month a go, I saw a 62 Lancer for sale I believe , here. looked to be a very nice maybe survivor type wagon, yes wagon. lancer w agon. we all know Lancers of this vintage are rare but I can attest they are not worth much ( to most if not all people), but a Lancer wagon is so very ODD.
point is, the seller put it in SlantSix.org and sold it in bout a week aftr the ad came out there, sold there is at least my assumption.
for the sake of the answer to this thread, I think the price of a good project is so far removed from the price of a good driver, and that is far removed from the price ( as in selling price) of a restored car. I see early b body wagons on CL scattered around in the $3-4000 range that NEVER sell. is the early A wagon more or less desirable??? the pedals and extra parts make Rani's wagon more desirable, but....
biggest hurdle for me to ever sell any car is to find a buyer close enough or THAT rare person that will pay shipping.
my off the wall estimate of value is $1500-2000, maybe 2500, but
it just takes the right buyer!
the last wagon I as trying to b,y was in Ok, totally complete 65 dart slant wagon, $1000 few years back.
